Unbox GlossyBox

Hey guys, sorry I didn't post on Sunday, I didn't realise it was Sunday then because of how nice the weather was! Hope you are all okay :)

So last week I received the Glossybox Box. This is similar to Birchbox. In the box I got 5 items, they all ranged from £5 to £30. I didn't take photos of the products this time, so I will try and link them down below.

So, the first item that I got was the MUA powerpout glaze low voltage lip gloss. Personally I'm not all for lip glosses, I prefer lip sticks. I found this lip gloss too glossy and liquidy to even consider it okay to go outside with it on and it looks full size. The colour was lush I think it was called Spellbound, but overall, it was a bit of a hassle to get the liquid out, and even a little difficult to apply because it was like a brush instead of a stick. Overall, I would not use this product. Cost: £3.50

The second product I got was the Leighton Denny Expert Nails miracle mist. I haven't got round to using this one yet, but it looks good and I have high hopes for it. It is a spray to speed the drying of nail varnish. It looks like a full size product. The original cost was £12.

The next product was the STYLondon temporary "henna" tattoo. It's a full size product and the product is in white, but shows so well on the skin. I used two of these already. One on my wrist and one on my thigh. The one on my wrist did not last very long, just over a day I think, and the one on my thigh is still there, very clear and has not faded. The original price was £5.99.

I got the Studio 10 Brow Lift pencil, perfecting liner. I don't use brow pencils, I don't even pluck my brows, so to me personally this is a pointless product. It's full size, with two pencils at each end, one light and one dark. The original cost for this product is £22.

The last product that I got was the Oils for life, intensely revitalising facial oil by The Body Shop. I am not very keen on using oils on my face because my face is naturally very oily so I don't want to add to that. It's their best selling facial oil. It's a bit small, but I think you could get a lot of use out of it because you wouldn't need to use very much in one go. The cost for this was £28.

Overall, I was not all impressed with GlossyBox, I didn't like majority of the products, so I think it was a waste.

Was your box any better? Or is there a better beauty box out there?

Love, Abi x
