Unbox Birchbox

Hey guys! So recently I purchased a beauty box called Birchbox! After watching like a million YouTube videos n unboxing these beauty boxes I was tempted to buy one myself. There are different payment options you can choose from ranging from one month payment to a payment for 12 months. I just purchased the one box and this cost £10. Average value of a box is about £50-60, so you're getting your moneys worth definitely!

Also, I shall be doing a give-away on one of these products!

So I received the April Box, and got 6 products in total. I think these products are more sample sized rather than original size.

The first product I got was the Nuxe, Huile Prodigieuse. And this is a multi use oil that you can use on your hands, face and hair. It has a mixture of sweet almond, hazelnut and macadamia oils, reparative plant oils and vitamin E. The original cost of this product is £17. The size of the product is quite small, but you can put it in your bag and use it throughout the day and when you are out. I have used this twice, and it's oily, which isn't all well for my skin type, so personally I probably won't be using this product very much.

The second product I got was the Benefit Cosmetics Dew The Hoola bronzer. I'm not into bronzer personally, so shall not be using this product and this will be the give away product! (details at the end of the post) The original price for this was £22.50. It is a liquid formula and is said to give a naturally sun-kissed glow. It's also said to be benefits best-selling Hoola bronzer!

Next is the Cynthia Rowley Beauty Eyeliner in black. It is a pencil eyeliner and the original cost for this was £11. Personally, I don't like pencil liners, but I tried it and it didn't work for me. I feel like I'm dragging my eye lid when trying to apply it. It has a creamy feel to it but it just didn't work for me. I prefer liquid liner. It does say you can smudge it, to create a smoky eye, but I tried this and I feel like it doesn't smudge very well.

The next two products I got was the Beaver Professional Hydro Nutritive Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner. These cost £11.50. I am yet to try these products, however with the shampoo I could probably get 2 or 3 washes out of it, but with the conditioner it comes in a pouch and probably could get only 1 wash out out it which isn't helpful. It say's that these products will repair damaged hair with gentle formulas. They both contain Avocado Oil and Aloe Vera to cleanse hair from root to tip.

The last product, is my new favourite. It is he Kueshi Foot Care Cream. I should probably look after my feet more because the hills of my feet and my toes get very dry and irritated, and this product completely hydrates the whole foot. The original cost was £12. It contains Almond oils and royal jelly to smooth and soften. It also contains tea tree oil to calm and relieve. I found this very moisturising and hydrating so will definitely be using again!

So there you go! Out of all the products I like / will try about 3 of them, so it's not all bad. As for he give-away, I will be giving the Benefit Cosmetic Bronzer away. To enter, snapchat (heyabi) me in the chat "benefit bronzer" or tweet (princess__abi) me saying "benefit bronzer" and I will note this down and then make a decision! Entries close On Sunday 24th April at 4pm. I will snapchat or dm the winner on the Monday 25th April.

I have also ordered a Glossy Box beauty box, so I shall be unboxing that one very soon and will do a post about it!

Did you like any of the products in the Birchbox?
