In August 2014, I decided to go on holiday with two of my best friends, Chloe and Chenice. We went to Paris, and it was actually planned for Chloe's 18th. This was my first holiday without my parents so it was very thrilling and I am quite surprised that I wasn't scared at all. I mean being 18 and travelling to another country without my dad should be terrifying right? Wrong, it was the best thing I have ever done.

We stayed from Wednesday to Sunday and stayed in a cute little hotel in the centre of Paris, which was cool because we were close to everything touristy and of course we were two minutes from the metro (recommend getting a week metro ticket, its cheaper and you will use it a lot!)
We arrived late afternoon, maybe just after 6 or 7, and we were quite relaxed and didn't want to do much so we dropped our bags off and went straight to dinner. We found a restaurant just a minute away from our hotel. It was really nice in there, I had Rose wine and we all ordered pizza, I think I had ordered some sort of chicken pizza. It was a big pizza so I was surprised that I finished it all!

The next day, we ventured out into Paris, and the first thing we do is go to the Eiffel Tower. We had climbed over 600 stairs (which was very tiring) to the first floor of the tower. We were going to go to the top but they had closed it off because someone had lost their bag or something so that was a shame, but the view from the first floor was amazing! I have some really amazing photos of the city (which I shall add at the end of the post) and it is actually surprising how high the first floor actually is! We also went to the arch de triumph as well, which was lovely, as it was a really nice day!

On the Friday it was Disney day! Honestly as an 18 year old, Disneyland was the best thing that had happened to me. You are never too old for Disney especially Disneyland. (I will also add photos) We went all around the park and on so many rides, I can't really remember how long we waited for some of the rides, but I don't think it was horrendous waiting. Although we did get there extremely early, like when the park actually opened, but I don't think helps but everyone does the same, so it was packed the moment we got there. We stayed there all day, we had food there (which yes is quite expensive, but when you are on holiday, stuff like that doesn't matter!) I bought a cute Disney Princesses key ring and a Mickey Mouse jumper. My favourite ride must have been the Rock and Roller and Space Mountain, I think we went on Space Mountain at least 5 or 6 times! By the end of the day, Disneyland was setting up to close just after midnight and the ending was absolutely magical. They ended the night with Disney Dreams, which is a video water show on the Disney Castle including so many famous Disney songs! I managed to film the whole thing and I still get sad watching it because it is a time I would do anything to go back to, not just because of Disneyland but because I got to spend that time with my two best friends and I miss those times.

On the Saturday, because we got back Disneyland quite late, we decided to have a chilled day before we had to go back home the next day. The day consisted of doing a bit of shopping and going into Sephora- which is overwhelming, because I have never seen so many make up products before. I didn't get anything from Sephora but I did get a nail varnish and lip gloss from Kiko which I do love and I highly recommend. Apart from that it was just a relaxed day, I think we went out to get food too but that's it really.

The day we had to leave was a really beautiful day.. We got packed and left the hotel and it was hours before we had to be at the airport so we did one last venture around, went to the Louvre, and after that we just relaxed on the grass enjoying our last moments in Paris.

Overall, this was the best holiday I went on especially because I went with my two best friends who mean the world to me, and it was a pleasure to share that adventure with them. So here are some photos!

Have you been to Paris? What was the occasion? Did you enjoy it?

Speak soon- Abi :) x
